Commercial Maintenance Landscape Assistant Crew Leader

This position reports to: Commercial Maintenance Crew Leader

 

Position Summary: With the guidance of the Crew Leader assists with the efficient operation of site management clients.

 

Position Requirements: A vocational or professional certificate in Horticulture or Landscape Technology preferred or at least 1-year experience as a crew laborer preferred. Must have basic knowledge of customer site management business including turf management, pesticide application and plant materials. Ability to operate heavy equipment and a valid driver’s license a must.

 

Accountability: Responsible for completing client jobs in a manner consistent with contracts and in a professional manner according to PLC standard operating procedures. Provide work direction in the absence of the Crew Leader. Responsible for vehicle operation, equipment operation and adherence to safety procedures.

 

Position Duties

- Coordinate and assist the Crew Leader with equipment and material needs.

- Assist the Foreman with training of crewmembers.

- Assist the Foreman with any paperwork.

- Conduct weekly tool inventory.

- Assist the Foreman with enforcement all company policies and procedures.

- Maintain all equipment on your job site in a clean & orderly manner.

- Complete any additional assignments as directed by Division and Corporate Managers.
