Tartan Residence

This home had a severely sloped rear lawn and was redesigned to provide an outdoor living space. The scope of work included an open air gazebo, natural stone water feature, informal fire pit, outdoor kitchen area and a secluded space for a spa tub. Sandstone retaining walls were used to separate the upper and lower living spaces. Massed plantings were used to naturalize and soften the hardscape. A carriage house was also part of the design and project construction.
