On behalf of the Ohio Department of Education – Office of Career – Technical Education, I would like to thank you for participating in the Agricultural and Environmental Systems Career Business Validation Panel. This is a multi-faceted process that relies on your expertise in the agriculture industry to provide insight to the technical knowledge and skill needed to be delivered in career-technical education programs. Participation of industry representatives and teachers is vital in preparing our students for the future of agriculture.

I hope that you will continue to lead by example in your profession by participating in any future discussion. Ralph Waldo Emerson stated, “Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” Thank you for putting yourself in the position to leave a trail.
