Landscape design is not just a pretty picture. It’s an art form that requires understanding both nature and people. To do it right, you need to consider your budget, your yard’s natural features, and the functional uses you desire from your landscape. Then you’ll need to consider plants and designs that work well with those elements. Often this can be overwhelming, but with the right expertise, tools, and techniques it can be very engaging!
Our team of experienced expert designers can help you in recreating your yard. We have a client-oriented design process. We immerse ourselves in your yard and analyze it, develop an understanding of your wants, and needs, and create a tasteful design that enhances your landscape. Our overall goal is to provide you with a finished design that incorporates what you want while articulating your yard’s best features.
Design Process
The first step of the design process is the initial consultation. During this meeting, we will discuss your landscape, needs, budget, and scheduling. We’ll also create a list of priorities—the things that are most important to you. We’ll use these goals to help us develop an initial concept that meets your needs while also achieving what we know is possible within your budget constraints. Your initial consultation can take place at our home office or in person at your house or business location if desired.
The second step of our design process is a site analysis. We will visit you and your landscape and map out the site. Here, we immerse ourselves in the landscape, identify opportunities, and develop a general idea for your design. In getting a lay of the land, we start to understand how to logistically accomplish your landscape goals.
The third step of our design process is the actual design itself. One of our designers will take the time to carefully craft a blueprint for you. Keeping in mind all the goals of the design, we create a draft that you can be proud of. We will meet, clarify, and improve upon your design to a final draft. That final draft will be rendered into a 3D model of your unique design. Here one of our designers will develop a 3D model of your design which you can explore and understand
The Difference is in Design
At Peabody Landscape Group we understand the difference starts with the design. A beautiful design will change a landscape into an entirely new and functional space. With this as our focus, we prioritize working with clients from a design-oriented perspective. That means you don’t work with salespeople, but landscape designers. Our award-winning landscape design team guides you through the process, taking things step by step to ensure every detail is just right. With the help of 3D software, our designers can show a visual concept of your new landscape before a shovel ever touches the ground. This approach helps our clients see their designs and make any adjustments that might have been overlooked. It is our focus to clearly communicate to you what your new yard will look like.
